Representatives of Ukrainian trade unions expressed their point of view on the development of Ukraine

On March 5, 2013 a round table with representatives of Ukrainian trade unions took place in Kyiv. The event was arranged within the national consultations on the Post-2015 Development Agenda and attracted 20 participants.

The key development priorities for Ukraine were named as follows: improving working environment, struggle against poverty and modernization of production. The discussion also highlighted issues of anti-corruption struggle, legalization of revenues, decreasing society stratification, etc.

Results of the discussion about the problems and perspectives of Ukraine's development are to be included in the National Report "Ukraine: Post-2015 Development Agenda". It will become Ukraine's contribution to the Global Agenda, planned to be discussed by the world leaders during the 68th session of the UN General Assembly in autumn 2013.
